Carolanne MacLean is an honours graduate of the Ontario College of Art, 1996 in Fine Art. She has maintained an active art practice ever since, working on large abstract encaustics, small acrylic faces, sculpture and watercolour. Her work has been shown at various art fairs and two solo exhibits and is in collection in Ontario.

ARTIST STATEMENT

I seek to portray the beauty of the world. In this exhibition of small faces I hope the viewer will enjoy the whimsical application of paint as well as the human emotions the portraits elicit.
