ARTIST STATEMENT

Through my paintings, I seek to forge a connection with viewers, inviting emotions to flow freely and fostering a deeper understanding. Despite the challenges of frequent relocations and life’s complexities, urban landscapes—alive with vibrant streets, electric wires, roads, and railways—have become a source of comfort and familiarity. These scenes not only offer me solace but also serve as a medium to express my concerns about our fast paced lifestyles, my fascination with climate change, and my reflections on the future.

From the beauty of foggy days to sunny skies and dramatic clouds, I aim to capture fleeting moments that resonate deeply with both the present and the uncertain days ahead. My artwork portrays scenes in neutral settings, devoid of barriers, inviting everyone to relate and connect, fostering a deeper understanding and sense of unity. My goal is to cultivate inclusivity and accessibility, allowing viewers to engage with my work on a personal level and discover significance that resonance in the emotions and experiences I portray.

As a Mexican artist residing in Canada, I am grateful to have found a supportive community that embraces cultural diversity, offering me respect and admiration for my artistry and enabling my artistic development. I am particularly touched by the bond I have formed with young individuals through my art has given me a renewed sense of purpose and fulfillment.
