Karen was born deaf and blind but has not let that stop her from living her best life. A mother of four children, grandmother to two she is now retired from her career at George Brown College where she taught ASL (American Sign Language).
She has been painting for four years now and takes lessons at the Helen Keller Centre in North York. She works in Acrylics and brings a bold vision to her works.
The Lakeshore Art Trail welcomes her as a special guest of this year's show.
