ARTIST STATEMENT
As an experienced visual artist and art instructor I’m constantly researching new ideas and techniques, which enables me to enhance my creativity and to keep away from being dull and repetitive. I try to combine what I have learnt in the past with the new vision I have for my future projects.
I believe creative artists always think outside the box and, although they should have their signature style, we should not limit ourselves to one specific method. I always try to push myself to explore new methods and new ideas. Artists live in a fascinating world where everything they see around them could be interpreted Into a potential great new painting.
I always work hard to develop and create paintings that speak to me and the viewers at the same time, if a viewer enjoys and connects with a painting which I have created, then I consider that I have succeeded in my work.
Improving my art and making it more interesting is always a welcome challenge that I look forward to every time I start a new idea from sketchbook to canvas.
