ARTIST STATEMENT
I enjoy the spontaneity and transparency of the medium, plus the unpredictable results watercolours offer. Combining collage and watercolours allows me to create new interesting pieces using the spontaneity of the paint and the crispness of collage while still incorporating the unusual colour schemes, strong shadow elements and unusual points of view that I am drawn towards.
