ARTIST STATEMENT
Inspired by the still life paintings of the 17th century Dutch Golden Age Masters and Hyper-realism, I create luminously detailed paintings of common objects. Though simple in composition and subject matter, the stillness and quietude of my still life works offer a deeper emotional experience than what initially, visually meets the eye.
